Not Scared of Mike Anymore

Mike is one of the nicest guys I know, period. He's also one of the hairiest. It always took Marigold a little time to warm up to him and his mutton chops. No more! At band practice this week she cruised right over and stayed there to listen for many songs. See? He's not scary! He's just a musician!

Her funny fuzzy hair just never gets old to me. Every time she wakes up I giggle. If you were the one to get her out of bed I bet you would too. It doesn't hurt that her hair is usually accompanied by some pretty great expressions. Here are a couple of recent favorites...

Outside = Happy

Get this girl outdoors and she's a happy camper. She loves to talk and point at everything outside. I think she's getting all her questions ready for us.

She loves her Dada.

Casey loves to take a few pictures a little farther away so you can really see little her in a big world. She desperately wants to run off on her own out to play in that big world. She's not quite ready and neither am I.

Family Photo

Snapped by my BFF Jen who was visiting from LA. We need to remember to take a couple more family pictures per year. Marigold is almost one and I think we have 3 or 4. We'll get better at that right?

Busy

We have a busy girl on our hands and from what I can gather, slowing down is not in her future. Oh boy oh boy!She loves to look out the window and gets very excited at day to day human, machine and animal activity.

Cruising around the couch is a favorite. Especially if the remote or a magazine is in sight.

Playing still hasn't lost it's luster.

Can you see my tooth? I've been working on that too. One and a half are in and counting.

Life is good.
