Fall Fashion Show

Here is a some of Marigold's Fall Collection. It's fun to have a girl.

Jean jacket, yes please. *Thanks Auntie Jodie

Gotta love that big ole mouth. It's quite the accessory.

Peek-a-boo tutu.

Leggings help a few summer dresses move to fall.

I ordered her a new swimsuit just in case we needed one before next summer. It came with a skirt and she wanted to wear it all day.

Pigtails and jumpers! You can totally tell she's sick in this picture. Poor sweet baby.
*Thanks Grandma Rowe

These fuzzy boots just kill me. *Thanks Grammy Joanne

Hanging with teddy in a chic black tutu. *Thanks Lindsay

Cozy

This kid takes after her Mama in her liking of all things cozy. So, when we were changing the bedding from our summer quilt to our down comforter she about lost her mind. She came around the corner, saw the inviting pile of fluff and the above picture is the result. No, it wasn't close to nap time.

More Friends, More Kid Pics..

It the last weeks of our short Seattle summer, we got a chance to gather with some dear old friends and their growing families.

Finn and his killer hand eye coordination.

Marigold about to take off and not come back... again.

Some boys who go way back and are now mostly dads. Crazy.

Beautiful mamas.

The darling new Minahan addition, Emmarie.

Playing at our friend Beth's house is so much fun. She has twin girls very close to M's age and a great set up for tots.

LOVE Claire's face in this one.

Sorry Eva. Everyone else was looking and that's rare. You're a beauty even with your eyes closed:)

Birthday donut for Finn!

Annie knows just how this tunnel works.

Marigold is super comfortable at Beth's. She has given herself a rest each time we've been there. Get cozy little girl.

I feel so lucky to be sharing this parenting journey with friends I've had for ages. It's pretty amazing to know someone from the teenage "hood" through motherhood/fatherhood.

Likes.

You never know what a kid will like or become attached to. Marigold has a few likes that always make her happy.

She loves this hat. My best friend and neighbor growing up is named Molly and she has a little boy very close in age to Marigold. We finally got them together for a playdate and Molly's Mom, Glory was there and made Marigold this adorable hat. She really took to it.

Thanks Glory!

She loves these funny sunglasses she got at Elsa's birthday party. I can't believe she keeps them on as long as she does.

Oh man, she loves her teddy. My Bff Jen sent it to her the day she was born and it gets shrieks of excitement and love every single day.

I can't wait to see what she loves next.

Kids, kids, kids...

I love having kids at my house and I feel so lucky to get to play with all these gents.

One morning Marigold and I had a house full of fellas. I love Cash in this picture. A free for all behind him and he's mugging for the camera.

Three of the four cram in.

They were all in for a second. No decent picture though. Cash started the mass exodus.

The brothers Croasdale went home and Cash and Marigold took in the new space.

They love playing house.

After naps we went on a walk in the double stroller Eva is loaning to us.

We saw a cat!

We watched the cat intensely.

Cash is handsome.

Marigold is still wearing a tutu.

Independent

My girl is independent. She likes to do things herself and doesn't seem worried about Mom and Dad not being there. She knows we will be so she is totally secure in taking off on her own pretty much anywhere. If she sees someone or hears something she doesn't like she comes right back to us but if not, she's gone.

This picture shows a very expectant Marigold. Inner monologue - "You guys let me hold this ball in the car. If we aren't going to a park there's going to be serious trouble."

Awesome.
See ya.

Tutu's and Two Pieces

This is the silly two piece that my mom found in a drawer and made me wear.

This is my house. I LOVE my house.

This is my giant smile that I get when one of my parents plays with me on the floor.

This is my new tutu from Grandma Rowe. I get mesmerized by all the sparkles.

Did I mention I love my house? I really do.
