Thomas the Train

This is a look of pure joy.  If you've talked to Marigold lately you've probably heard about Thomas, James or the Island of Sodor.  She loves Thomas.  Lucky us, he came to the train museum and we got to go see him... and RIDE on him.  Oh boy!

Waiting is the hardest part.  The exhibit was obviously their biggest one and they had a ton of, um, elderly volunteers.  Lack of organization and a ton of 2-5 years olds is a rough go.  Did I mention it was pouring rain with a dash of lightening and thunder?

Almost our turn!
All aboard!

Adelaide was a trooper, as usual.

Is it starting?

She got so excited when we started to move.

She kept repeating, "Thomas is pulling us!"
Thrilling.

By the time we got off the train it was crazy raining and miserable.  Marigold would have stayed all day to check out the different parts of the exhibit but we thought we shouldn't give Adelaide pneumonia before her one month birthday.  We didn't wait in line for a picture with Thomas but Marigold seemed pretty please to peek through the fence by our car.  Good enough.  We were proud of ourselves for pulling this off.  Parenting points even if we're the only ones who remember it.
